Marina replacement project of an existing marina and replacing them with new docks, designed, manufactured and installed by Poralu Marine.
The St Katharine Docks are located in the heart of London, steps away from the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. The marina is surrounded by life from the bustling metropolis, which undoubtedly creates a natural desire to recreate the natural and historical environment of the traditional London-style docks.
Technical traits
The 200-slip marina accommodates boats from 8 to 40 metres.
In addition to the aluminium docks, Poralu Marine installed concrete floats to ensure great stability for the marina facilities.
The floating docks are anchored with Seaflex and H beam guide.
To preserve the look and feel of the traditional and historical London Marina, Poralu Marine used decking materials made from real wood.
